I literally panicked! I own a small towing company. My 2012 Ford F-650 has never given me any problems, when the hydraulics stopped working, well I was basically out of business. I have towed several vehicles into American Diesel so I gave them a call. I know this store is extremely busy. When I called I explained my situation and they said bring it in. I pulled in, Jerry directed me into a perfect slot in their very busy shop. He went through its diagnostics, pin pointed it within minutes, fixed it and had me back to work. I’ve already shared the good new with friends in the Murrieta are of having a mechanic who is trust worthy. We live over 120 miles away and had the truck towed to his shop twice. On a weekend, he came in to inspect the vehicle and got it going for us to make our MX race. He never charged a dime knowing we live so far that the chances of us returning to his shop were slim. After the race, we had the truck towed there again and he took the time to have Ford pay for the parts under warranty. What I liked the most about Gerald is his knowledge of the diesel engine. He knows his stuff. Jealous of all you who live in the Murrieta area for all us in Simi are still waiting for that trust worthy mechanic.

I found American diesel through yelp reviews. Our Diesel Truck 2003 F250 Super Duty 6L had been sitting for almost 3 years. We brought it to American Diesel to have it repaired. It was scanned for codes and repaired. I'm completely happy with the service received and American Diesel is the only mechanic I will be going to. My truck now runs perfect. :-)

I was referred to American Diesel by a friend.  I called and asked them for a rough quote on replacing a head gasket on my '06 Ford F250 Diesel 4x4.  They not only stayed true to their word but replaced parts that needed updating (while they had the engine apart) at only the parts cost not extra labor.  They kept me updated on their progress and finished in a timely manner as promised.  The Father and Son team is very professional.  I have two diesel trucks and will have American Diesel take care of them in the future.

Hi my name is bill, i drive a 03 f-250 6.0 with about 92,000 miles on it, we all know what happens to the 6.0 ,  Ive taken this truck to numerous different places , if you want your 6.0 fixed dont take it to the elsewhere, they miss diagnose it,   If you have a diesel truck take it  to american diesel, Jerry has the most knowledge by far on any ford diesel truck, than any other mechanic I've talked to , he will tell you exactly what all the problems are and what its going to take to fix your truck, once you fix  problems on 6.0 its a great motor,  if you see  oil in coolant resevoir stop driving it immediately!!  Most likely head gaskets are blown, replace head studs with ARP  studs, listen to what Jerry says to fix your 6.0 he knows this motor inside n out, and you will have bullet proof 6.0 , after that maintaining oil and coolant is imperative for 6.0  life, use petrolabs fuel additive for injectors , go see Jerry dont waste your time and money elsewhere !

So my truck needed an injector and I was referred by a friend to American Diesel. Called the other day and got a quote to get an injector replaced on my 6.0L Ford and it was HALF of what the dealer quoted. Made an appointment that worked for me and was able to drop the truck off in the morning and pick up before close. I was traveling down south friday night to visit my  family..and my chevy duramax ran into a problem on Interstate 5 after a long night of towing i ended up map-questing diesel mechanics in the area of Temecula..American Diesel pop'd up...i read the reviews and noticed they were pretty much the only shop open for business on saturday and had good reviews... i called talked with junior and set up an emergency visit with my  truck Jerry arrived quickly and  diagnosed it within minutes...He accepted to do the work on short notice and also had the part in stock!!....Jerry and Junior i made it back to Nor Cal with truck running excellent i really appreciate the work you did in the short time and on a saturday. First time customer - great experience.  I needed a new fuel pump as identified by a check engine and a M3 maintenance service for my Freightliner motorhome. The M3 service is the most extensive service for the coach.  They thoroughly worked through the service list finding all the correct replacement filters, fluids and parts.  The work was completed in the time frame given.  We went on a trip the day after picking up the coach and it ran better than ever demonstrating more power up hills and ran smoothly.  I will come back for all future service and repairs.

Having only had my truck for the last 1+ years, and my first diesel, I've been looking for anything better than a dealership to get work done. Had the check engine light on and knew it had to have something to do with the turbo charger after attempting to get it smoked last week (not sure what made me think I would pass smog with that on, but that's a different story). At any rate, I actually ended up with a referral from a different shop who didn't work on diesel's but sent their work to American Diesel when they needed anything and had nothing but glowing things to say about them. Having had a dad who owned his own body shop back in the day, and worked for a variety of others, it's hard to beat a referral like that. Got over to American Diesel at about 9, they started looking into the truck issues quickly, and had it figured out way faster than the dealer would have. Had me back up and running well, plus they had the truck smogged (passed easily). That was unexpected and greatly appreciated. And, all for a reasonable price. I can't say enough good things about American Diesel. I'll be going back. Thanks to Jerry and to David for putting the time in on my truck, even in the heat. Truly, appreciate it!

These guys are awesome!! Jr. and his team are the best around. We won't take our diesel anywhere else. Out of the blue our truck started making some crazy sounds. We happened to be running errands with our dogs (in the back seat). They brought the truck in and had it fixed in a few hours, with the dogs in the back! If you have a diesel ford truck, this is the only place to take it for repair.  I have been taking my 2004 F250 there for the last 3 years.  Great work, honest people!  A little slow,but they are always busy, with at least 30 vehicles in process at any time, so plan your visit ahead of time.

Rancho Ford wanted $6,500 to fix my F-250. A friend recommended American Diesel so I had the truck towed over for a second opinion.  They took extra care with the diagnosis since the Ford quote was so heavy. In the end, they had me back on the road for just under $1,050. That saved us a lot! A BIG thanks from my family to American Diesel for that. You guys have earned my future business.

I brought my truck in (2003 6.0 Excursion) because I was leaking oil. It look to me as if the leak was coming from the engine oil pan but they cleaned it up and took a closer look and saw that it was coming from somewhere higher . Instead of spending thousands on my repair, I spent a couple of hundred bucks and now.... no leak. I highly recommend these guys. The quote I was given was spot on to what I paid. Thank you Jerry.

My husband had our 2003 Ford F250 towed to American Diesel beginning of June. We had multiple issues with our truck. In addition, the previous owner of the truck had installed a "kill switch" which became an electrical issue". Thanks to Junior not giving up on us they were able to repair all the problems and we were so happy to get word that our truck was ready for pick up! It runs great and we are ready to start taking our RV out again! :)
